Entrance

Entrance to the surgery

Here is the entrance to our building. The space is adequate for wheelchair access. Just in front of the entrance door is a covered area for pram parking, just next to which is a cycle parking area. The entrance doors are automatic and once you pass into the entry area, going straight ahead leads directly to the waiting area. If instead you turn to your left, this leads directly into the Shepley Pharmacy, where you can expect a warm welcome from the pharmacy team.

Waiting Room

Entrance to the surgery

The waiting area is open plan with moveable seating. It is well lit and can be air conditioned if necessary. Whilst it is often a very busy space, it never seems cramped or overfull. Within the waiting area there is an area designated for young children to play; older children and adults are well catered for a wide range of reading material. Disabled toilet facilities are easily accessible from the waiting room. There is a free drinks fountain present for patient use.

We have been informed that there are plans to introduce wi-fi as a facility in the waiting room in the not too distant future.
